I am so grateful for me piece to have been chosen for the St. Tammany Parish government as part of the nationwide National Fitness Campaign. "Romp in the Swamp" represents a monumental, permanent translation of my "Bayou Treasures" aesthetic into the public sphere. The mural injects a whimsical, highly accessible narrative into the natural landscape, featuring Louisiana wildlife, including an alligator paddling a boat, raccoons attempting to fish, heavily muscled frog bodybuilders, and a pelican operating as a superhero for a sweet little bayou crab.
I truly believe joy can be found in our local landscape by every creature—big or small, scaley or feathery, furry or hairless!
